Brainstorming ideas for a presentation
Use AI to get structure and perspectives for a presentation.
After this lesson
You ask for a clear structure and different perspectives without AI inventing the content.
In view · Choices and control
A presentation gets a story
Describe who is listening and what those people should remember.
Have different storylines proposed for the same subject.
Select a line and work out the order of the components.
Part 1 of 3 · Goal and audience
Your preference for less movement is on. Choose each part yourself.
Start with the goal
What should the listener know, feel, or do afterwards?
Ask for structure
For example: opening question, 3 key points, closing with action.
Ask for variation
Have AI suggest different tones or orders, and choose yourself.
New practice example
From explanation to a usable result.
A presentation begins with what your audience should be able to do afterwards, not with a long list of topics.
Fictional practice situationA fictitious association wants to show volunteers in five minutes how to check a suspicious AI claim. They may use only one source and one example.
View a possible solution
This is how it can be done
Choose an opening with a persuasive but unproven claim. Then show the source, compare one claim, and conclude with the question: what evidence is missing? This allows participants to practice the exact action from the learning objective.
Why this works
A fun title is not enough. The structure must leave room for the participant to make a choice themselves and see the control.
Make it slightly more difficult
Create two alternative openings: a short question and a mini-demonstration. Note which one you choose for people without AI experience.
Extra practice, at your own pace. You do not need to submit anything. This does not count towards an automatic assessment.

Why this approach works
A fun title is not enough. The structure must leave room for the participant to make a choice themselves and see the control.

Make your image brief visible
Change goal, format and composition. Compare the trial design with the assignment you are describing it with.
Your image brief in words
Create a vierkant prototype design for a presentation. Place the illustration midden. Leave space for a short title and explanation. Use fictional elements. Present it as an illustration and check origin and usage rights before publication.
2 publication agreements are still open in your checklist.
This is a drawn draft design with fixed components, not an image generator. The tick boxes schedule a check and do not prove usage rights. Nothing is being published.
This trial works locally with fictitious data and does not count towards your lesson completion. It starts anew with a new lesson or reload.
A prompt to get you started
Help me structure a 10 minute presentation about [subject] for [target audience]. Provide an opening question, 3 key points, and a closing with one concrete action. Do not invent facts or figures.
Apply it
You are giving a five-minute presentation to colleagues who use AI very little. A AI suggests twenty technical slides.
Which approach best fits this situation?
- Use all twenty slides and speak faster.
- Have AI invent examples of real results.
- Request an opening, three understandable points, and a closing question.
With JavaScript, you can check your approach and receive immediate feedback.
Test your insight
What is the most important thing to include in a presentation prompt?
- As many slides as possible.
- The goal and the target audience.
- Only the subject.
Extra practice
Choose a topic and write the prompt you would use to get a presentation structure.
Subject: AI in our team. Target audience: colleagues. Prompt asks for an opening question, 3 points, and a closing question to the audience.
